What does “fully-staffed” mean? What staff is included?
A “fully staffed” villa includes the services of a private chef and/or cook, a maid who does daily housekeeping, and local staff to handle maintenance and landscaping. All of the services of these individuals are included in the nightly rental price of the villa. Renting a villa with staff means that you can relax and enjoy your time away with family and friends without having to think about grocery shopping, preparing meals, cleaning or making reservations for anything.

What amenities are available in these villas?
When staying in a luxury beach house or rental villa with staff you can expect luxury resort-like service while enjoying the space and privacy of a stand-alone house. These exceptional properties range from spacious three-bedroom villas to expansive ten-bedroom estates.
Each is different; however, they are all beautiful and luxurious. Most have private swimming pools, fitness rooms and sweeping decks. Some even have private beaches and tennis courts. All come with a discrete staff that will cater to your every need, whether that's shopping for you then preparing gourmet meals or having your laundry washed and ironed to your specifications. Like you'd find on a well-run English country estate, the staff will be there when you need them and virtually invisible when you don't.
Is the staff in the villa live-in staff or commuting staff?
When you rent a beach house or a private villa with staff you will be served by a butler, a maid and a private chef or cook. In most cases, these wonderful people live nearby, driving to the villa early in the morning, and leaving after dinner is cleaned up.
They often have a "break room", located in the back of the villa where they can enjoy a little down time between meals. In some cases, especially where the villa is in a remote location or is massive enough to warrant it, the staff may have housing on the premises. In those cases, they will be available to the clients at all hours, while still being respectful of the group’s privacy.
What services do you get in a fully staffed villa?
When you vacation in a fully staffed villa, you can expect daily housekeeping service as well as someone to prepare three meals a day. In larger private villas with staff, you may also enjoy the services of a butler, to serve drinks, run errands and arrange reservations for local services and activities. Of course, your villa will also have a team attending to landscaping, pool cleaning and general maintenance. What more could you ask for?
What is the difference between a private chef and a villa cook?
One of the best parts about a staffed villa rental is having someone to prepare delicious meals for you three times a day using local ingredients. Many of our Special Reserve villas include the services of a professional chef with experience working in top restaurants and/or catering companies.
These individuals are formally-trained chefs and will give you the same culinary experience you'd expect in a fine dining restaurant...all in your own private villa. Your chef will work with you and customize the menu to suit your food tastes.
In many other cases the villa is staffed with a cook. These individuals have experience working in local restaurants and cooking for local families. From them you can expect delicious home-cooked, family-style meals making good use of locally-sourced ingredients. This is a great option for families and large groups.
